Very solid and sturdy. Corners are nicely rounded. An Alan key was provided to use on the legs to put them into position. No other tools is required. The surface of the tables are a little too orangy in colour for me. I am planing on giving them a coat of paint to match my other furniture, which is a little lighter in colour.
