First time ordering from wayfair. I was a bit weary ordering this after reading reviews and got the feeling wayfair is “hit or miss”. I am pleasantly surprised how this bench turned out. Easy to assemble, you just have to put the 2 sides on the bench and feet on. The material is a velvety material and the whole bench is very sturdy. The top part doesn’t open as far but you can fit 1 or 2 think blankets in there or a couple of shoes. It also comes with the 2 little pillows. I love the way it looks- exactly what I had in mine for this area in my dining room. Also the instructions say it holds up to 300 lbs which is more than it lists online, which is good. I found two drawbacks, one being that the arm holes were really hard to shove in all the way (you just put glue and shove them in) and so a little bit of the unpainted part sticks out and they don’t feel super secure. Also, when I was building it, I ended up with two extra screws and washers. The directions were sort of unclear where they are supposed to go, but it seems sturdy enough. I emailed the manufacturer for help as it said on the directions and they offered to replace the whole thing. Not sure if it will be needed.. Mary. Solon, Ohio. Mon May 08 2023
