The chair links our more than 150-year-old technology with contemporary design. It is based on manually bent split lengths of massive wood; which, at the same time, are both a design and functional element of seating furniture - it supports the seat and also the backrest. It is elegantly slid in, behind the seat made also from massive wood. Apart from the upholstery, we also offer a design in ash, which can be applied with gradients by manual spraying.

The main part of this classic line is a round seat. The author took it from the concept of traditionally bent furniture and put it in contrast with straight legs.

A seat of this model is made of bent plywood and the specific craftsmanship of the beech wood ensures that its visually fine shapes and frame provide sufficient strength.

The design of the chair was inspired by the atmosphere of a traditional Czech pub – a place known for beer, eating and debating. A Czech pub interior often features a lot of wood, an earthy element that invites customers to feel comfortable and relaxed. The combination of a traditional U-shaped seat with solid wood legs ensures strength and longevity. These qualities are tested through 460,000 cycles simulating sitting, and also with techniques that model what is likely to happen in a pub.
