It has a solid wood frame that rests on four angled metal legs that come in a two-tone finish of black and brown for a bold vintage-inspired look. The seat and back are wrapped in textured faux leather and padded with foam for just the right amount of support. I’m sick of hard chairs. I wanted something comfy and padded and swively so people would stay at the table instead of migrating to softer furniture with food and for playing board games. Yet, I wanted a wipeable surface because…kids. I *almost* got what I was looking for with these chairs. They look nice and modern, they swivel well (some get a bit loose), and they are comfortable. The two cons that I have are 1) I wish the angle of the chair was a little more upright and 2) my niece spilled a drink and it seeped down to the padding because of the holes where the stitching makes “stripes”, so they definitely aren’t waterproof which makes me sad.
