I’m sick of hard chairs. I wanted something comfy and padded and swively so people would stay at the table instead of migrating to softer furniture with food and for playing board games. Yet, I wanted a wipeable surface because…kids. I *almost* got what I was looking for with these chairs. They look nice and modern, they swivel well (some get a bit loose), and they are comfortable. The two cons that I have are 1) I wish the angle of the chair was a little more upright and 2) my niece spilled a drink and it seeped down to the padding because of the holes where the stitching makes “stripes”, so they definitely aren’t waterproof which makes me sad. Absolutely lovely and sturdy chairs which were purchased to be used for homeschooling in my daughters study. They are the perfect height to be used with a writingoffice desk. (The desk pictured above is also from Wayfair). The cushioned part of the chairs is firm to medium hard and the paint is the perfect white. Another plus is the fact that the padded part is cat proof.
