I love the way it looks- exactly what I had in mine for this area in my dining room. Also the instructions say it holds up to 300 lbs which is more than it lists online, which is good. I found two drawbacks, one being that the arm holes were really hard to shove in all the way (you just put glue and shove them in) and so a little bit of the unpainted part sticks out and they don’t feel super secure. Also, when I was building it, I ended up with two extra screws and washers. The directions were sort of unclear where they are supposed to go, but it seems sturdy enough. I emailed the manufacturer for help as it said on the directions and they offered to replace the whole thing. Not sure if it will be needed.. Mary. Solon, Ohio. Mon May 08 2023

I love the bench! It is exactly what I need for my front hallway. Contrary to what others have said, I had no difficulty putting it together. To be honest, I considered purchasing the expert assembly, but was feeling pretty adventurous, so I dug in this morning! This was my first building project and I used only a screwdriver, a hammer, and the instruction manual. I did get tripped up with step #6 and assembled the drawer sliders backwards, but it was an easy fix at the end. Aside from that, I took my time - it took about 3 hours total because I went slow and was very deliberate, but it turned out beautiful and looks just like the picture!
