Black Elm Bedside Tables

Inspired by traditional Chinese tea tables, this bedside table is the perfect spot to house nighttime reading or rests a statement lamp. This little side table has a carved shelf at the bottom and a rattan inlay on the top. The horse hoof feet and circular drawer handle give an unmistakable oriental feel, and in fact, the style is not dissimilar to Chinese tea tables that have been used for centuries. Showcase a statement lamp or place a pair of these side tables at your bedside. Handcrafted from solid elm wood and featuring 1 drawer, it is perfect teamed with white walls and ceramic accents.

Paying homage to the unique style of mid-century decor, this nightstand will transform your room with its precise lines and angled legs. This piece is crafted using quality materials like solid elm and iron knobs, making it both durable and stylish. Choose from a variety of vivid colours to invigorate your space with retro style.

I absolutely love these nightstands! I’m only giving four stars because as other reviews have mentioned, the packaging was not good and one of the nightstands came slightly damaged as a result. Luckily it was on the backend so it’s easily hidden so I decided not to go through the hassle of returning it. Manufacturer needs to do a better job of packaging their product.. Gr. Available in a range of colours to suit your existing décor, this bedside table is brimming with traditional style. A clean-lined silhouette and simple finish add to its classic appeal, while three integrated drawers are ideal for storing pyjamas, skincare, books and other bedtime essentials. It arrives fully assembled and ready to use.

It was easy to build. We love the dresser.. Jody. New York, NY. Sat Mar 13 2021

Classic design meets modern functionality in the Shelby single drawer bedside table from Gracie oaks. Featuring a solid wood frame, a single sliding drawer, and an open bottom shelf, this piece can blend with the design scheme of any home. Keep it in your entryway, living room, or bedroom to store keys, books, or a house plant.

They look good in our space. Perfect size for our queen bed. Like the clean design, but didn’t realize the paint is a distressed white, and it’s not a bright white, more ivory next to our white duvet. The drawer also isn’t a soft close. Overall, loved not putting it together and love Wayfair customer service who replaced the one we received that was dented. We will keep, but wish they were more white.. Christine. Bethlehem, PA. Bring a touch of Chinese style to your home with this bedside table, featuring an intricate hand-painted butterfly design. This pretty little cabinet shows the Chinese style typical of painted furniture from Shanxi in the north of China. The lacquer surface is hand painted with flowers and dancing butterflies - a symbol of longevity. With plenty of space inside and one drawer at the top this makes beautiful and unusual bedside cabinets.

I bought two of these in black lacquer and they are very elegant looking. You can tell they have been hand crafted, the detail is beautiful. I'm very pleased! Would happily recommend!. Sian. London, GB. Tue Apr 18 2017

For the Chinese, the butterfly is a symbol of joy and happiness, and particularly of marital bliss. This is why it was often used as decoration on Chinese bedroom furniture such as on wedding cabinets and chests that a bride would bring with her to marriage. Although these bedside drawers seem more modern in design, the butterfly handles are highly appropriate and match the handles on our Large Sloping Cabinet. The tapered style is also similar and, although historically bedside drawers like these were not used by the Chinese, the round-cornered sloping frame is a reminder of Chinese cabinet design from hundreds of years ago.

Very sturdy, well made and just gorgeous. Quite understated and looks great on either side of the bed (I bought 2) - looks great with a tall headboard.. Haich. Chelmsford, GB. Sat Dec 29 2018

An elegant combination of design and materials makes it the perfect piece to fill any bedroom or living room with personality. A true eye-catcher in any home.

Voyage to the cultural land of the Orient with the Chinese Bedside Table. Intricately designed with Chinese motifs, the bedside table features a solid elmwood construction. Traditionally styled, the bedside table sports adjustable interior shelves with ample storage space. Beautifully crafted, it offers space for your home essentials and personal items. An exquisite design, the Chinese Bedside Table is a blend of art and efficiency. The doors are mounted on wooden hinges, which fit into sockets carved into the frame of the cabinet. This creates a beautifully simple form that shows off the painted decoration to maximum effect. Put two together for a pair of unusual bedside cabinets. Made of reclaimed elm, with one interior shelf. Please note that as these cabinets are hand-painted, there will be slight variations to the design shown.

I love my Chinese cabinet. It looks so elegant in my living room and although it is so different from anything else that I have, it seems to blend in and make a statement at the same time.. Hilda. Invermoriston Inverness, GB. Tue Jul 03 2018

Featuring two drawers, this elmwood bedside table is equally at home storing nighttime reading in the bedroom as it is displaying a lamp in the living room. Reminiscent of the Ming dynasty, the Chinese classical 2 drawer bedside table effortlessly creates an opulent ambiance wherever it is kept. Handcrafted out of solid elmwood, this bedside table has an innate beauty that is hard to miss. The two cavernous drawers of the Chinese classical bedside table afford plenty of storage space for your daily essentials and curios. The traditional construction and chest-style design of this table are eye-catching and sure to fetch you a lot of compliments. Not strictly a reproduction of an old Chinese design but the simple style of this little chest certainly mirrors the furniture of the Ming dynasty, while the circular brassware gives it a definite oriental feel. Two of these chests work wonderfully as bedside tables with plenty of storage or use one in the living room as a lamp table.

Bought 2 of these cabinets because my new bed was way too high for my old ones. I have quite a lot of black chinese furniture, some original and some, like these modern. These are really good quality and the lacquer finish is much shinier than most modern pieces and shinier than they look on the website. They are also sunstantially cheaper than other I've seen. Very pleased with them. I'm now saving up for the chest of drawers!. Hilary. London, . Thu Sep 17 2015

Great today for tidying away modern-day lotions and potions in the bathroom. The six drawers are also perfectly sized to hold up to 150 CDs or use one in the bedroom for socks and tights. It's also a good height for use as a side table and while simple in style has the same distinctive Chinese flavour.
