Featuring a design that became popular during the Ming dynasty, this stool brings a touch of traditional Chinese style to your home. Stools developed for seating in Chinese homes from as early as the Tang dynasty and were used by all classes throughout China. Rattan top and 'waisted' style, a popular design during the Ming dynasty and was also common in Chinese tables of the same period. It works perfectly both for seating and as a bedside or occasional table.
