Distressed Black

We absolutely love this piece. The only reason for four stars is due to the lack of a shelf bottom where the basket is. I will be putting one in myself and matching the stain. I have another basket coming because I’m not crazy about the wicker. As you can also see, I changed out the knobs to match more my color scheme. All in all it is a great purchase. Came packaged very securely and in great shape. I was a little concerned after seeing some peoples photos. But I had no issue at all. Would highly recommend if this item suits your purpose. A neat little Gunnar 3 Drawer Chest with 1 top wooden drawer and two removable woven rattan baskets with cutout handles, this white piece is brimming with storage space. It makes finding what you need easier than ever.

This would work nicely as a bedside table, but I am using it in a tight space in my dining room-kitchen. I love there is no assembly. Shipping was free. The mini cabinet arrived two days early. I personally really like this piece of furniture. It’s definitely very loud, so needs the right kind of space and surroundings (which I don’t actually have at the moment!), but ultimately I think it’s really authentic and interesting to look at. Our oriental style chest of drawers is therefore not strictly a Ming design, but we like to think that it is in keeping with the ethos of that time. Chests of drawers are a western invention rather than Chinese, as it was usual to store furniture in either cabinets or trunks, but the style of our chests is similar to cabinets from the time, and perfectly matches our own classical Chinese range. The drawers are mounted on metal runners for smooth opening and closing.
