There were a few dent spots but for the price it is pretty sturdy. There was a mistake in the instruction but we were able to make it right . There are some splinters coming off the corners of the slats so we might want to use sand paper to let it smooth out to avoid kids getting splinter if whoever sleeping on the bottom side happen to run her hand or arm through it.. This is a lovely comfortable sofa, fits in the space well and is definitely a four sweater. The sofa we love your courier panther that's a different matter they don't get untouch until the morning of the delivery this wouldn't of mattered if it had been my delivery day but it's was three weeks earlier so I had to juggle work very quickly which isn't always possible, the delivery team weren't to keen to deliver into the room which is what is stated with this item, they did but they took some convincing.
