Sustainable thanks to the use of boat wood. Clean the surface with a lukewarm moistened cotton cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, harsh detergents, or dripping wet cloths; no further treatment of the natural surface (oiling or waxing) is necessary.

This table is very quirky, i really like the shabby chic look, it is extremely heavy being solid wood it’s good to know they are all unique.The only slight negative is that the table top is slightly uneven which makes plates wobble sometimes. These tables are very similar to the one found on BBC's Saturday Kitchen television show on Saturday mornings.

This table is absolutely beautiful. It would seat 4 or 5 very comfortably, and probably 6 at a squeeze. However, just three months after purchase, it has developed stress-related cracks at the points where the limbs of the roots branch off from each other, extending into the base. I am worried that it will snap in half, letting the glass fall and shatter. Wayfair are sending a replacement base: hopefully this will turn out just to have been a weak specimen, and the new one will be fine - I will update this review in a few months if so.
