Very good table overall, nice table top quality. The size is comfortable for 4 chairs but only if using all 4 sides of the table. However, when unprocessed or damaged, this material is very sensitive to moisture and heat due to its highly absorbent properties. These tables are very similar to the one found on BBC's Saturday Kitchen television show on Saturday mornings.

This table is absolutely beautiful. It would seat 4 or 5 very comfortably, and probably 6 at a squeeze. However, just three months after purchase, it has developed stress-related cracks at the points where the limbs of the roots branch off from each other, extending into the base. I am worried that it will snap in half, letting the glass fall and shatter. Wayfair are sending a replacement base: hopefully this will turn out just to have been a weak specimen, and the new one will be fine - I will update this review in a few months if so.
