Be careful with this item. Although the description says it is a 2-seater, one of the images clearly shows it as a 4-seater. I phoned to confirm this and was told it was definitely a 4-seater. Although the table area is potentially big enough for 4, because of the design, you can't seat 4 due to legs/drawers being in the way. Wayfair did offer a partial refund.. Richard. Ringwood. The dark brown finish with clear wood grains gives the dining table a warm appearance and fits well in a botanical, retro or boho interior. Material The MDF board material in our collections is formed from pressed wood fibres that are bonded under pressure using resin. As a result, this material has a very smooth surface. Dimensions Height: 75 cm Diameter: 120 cm Capacity: 80 kg Weight: 30 kg Maintenance The advantage of pressed board material is that it will not splinter or warp. However, when unprocessed or damaged, this material is very sensitive to moisture and heat due to its highly absorbent properties. As a result, the MDF will expand and cannot return to its original state. For this reason, all our MDF items are thoroughly treated with a protective coating. Protect the table from hard and sharp materials to avoid scratches. The use of additional protection ensures that the table will not get scratched or stained, giving it a longer lifespan.

ur beautiful and striking Teak root dining tables are manufactured and handcrafted from reclaimed teak roots. Each root is completely unique including all the detailing, making this product completely bespoke and eye-catching. This table would make the perfect focal point to any room in your house. The great aspect of roots is nothing is wasted and it creates space for new teak trees to be planted, making it one of our most sustainable products out there. The roots have been excavated out of the ground from The National Indonesian Eco Programme which encourages regrowth of forests and promotes sustainable livelihoods for local people. These tables are very similar to the one found on BBC's Saturday Kitchen television show on Saturday mornings. This root would comfortably seat 4-6 people and can be paired with our vast choice of dining chairs.

This table is absolutely beautiful. It would seat 4 or 5 very comfortably, and probably 6 at a squeeze. However, just three months after purchase, it has developed stress-related cracks at the points where the limbs of the roots branch off from each other, extending into the base. I am worried that it will snap in half, letting the glass fall and shatter. Wayfair are sending a replacement base: hopefully this will turn out just to have been a weak specimen, and the new one will be fine - I will update this review in a few months if so. Until then, despite how gorgeous it in, I am afraid I cannot recommend purchasing it.. Anonymous. London, GB. Thu Apr 01 2021
