Schöne Kommode, schönes helles Holz. Dass das Rattangeflecht nur aufgedruckt ist, stört mich nicht, da dies wie eine Art Fototapete aussieht und so sehr echt aussieht. Die Füße habe ich einfach selbst umlackiert, da weiß bei mir besser passt. Leider ist nur eine Tür am Eck stark beschädigt angekommen und die Bohrungen für 2 Türen nicht gepasst haben. Habe dann einfach die Löcher selbst versetzt und neu gebohrt. Hat funktioniert und die Türen sind nun richtig dran. Hier hat mir der Wayfair Kundenservice aber schnell und unkompliziert weitergeholfen und ist mir hier preislich gut entgegen gekommen. I have been dreading this purchase thinking that the cabinet will be faulty, or poorly made. More than once I had a negative experience with items I have purchased in here. To my surprise, and delight, the cabinet looks nice and it looks like it was made well. I am not sure however, that the colour on the image is a true representation of the actual article. The colour of my cabinet is not as golden as the one on the image provided on the website. But I do not mind that, although I would have preferred the cabinet with a more golden shade of brown. I bought this cabinet, because it is shallow, only 27cm in depth, so it fits perfectly in the place I needed it for. I am so happy that, I do not have to send the cabinet back. Happy, happy, happy! One tiny problem was with screws provided to attach handles; three holes in draws were not drilled to a sufficient depth and as a result midway screws refused to go in, the head of one screw simply broke off, metal is too soft and too brittle, I had two spare screws, managed to replace damaged screws, but they still did not go fully in and heads are slightly damaged again. Some holes were not drilled at correct distances, millimetre or so off, but in this case it does make a difference, because when the screw is offset, the head of the screw hits the metal of the handle, thus this bends the screw which is already so fragile. To be perfectly honest, those handles could have easily been screwed in with them screws at the workshop, then taped and padded before the cabinet was boxed in ready for its delivery. Looks like, after assembling the cabinet, the manufacturers was running out of steam and decided not to bother with little things like handles and left them to a customer to deal with and this is at a price of £499? I do not think it is in any way acceptable. The manufacturer did not provide a guidance note about the size of the screw driver which fits screws supplied. I might call the customer service and ask them for spare screws, alternatively, I might buy some, as those handles need to be reattached properly. Apart from that, I am very happy with the piece. Additionally, it is disappointing that, the unpacking and assembling is not given as an option on this website. Other companies do offer this option and they also offer to take the packaging afterwards. Wayfair needs to look into this, in addition to numerous and serious issues with quality of some items they are selling on their website, unless they do not care about that at all.. Irina.
