Really sturdy, with lots of storage room. You can easily fit a winter duvet into the draw, it's really roomy. Exactly what I was looking for my growing son. Quite easy to put together, all the screws and other things were labelled very well and the instruction was well read. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars it's the little chip we have in the wood just between the draws, it's quite visible unfortunately, however doesn't affect the functionality in any way.. Kinga. I love this ottoman storage bed! It looks great and stores a lot of stuff. Delivery was on time. It takes two to put it together but was easy once we found the instructions and did not rely on the video alone. We decided not to attach the bottom to the bed as it only attached by Velcro. We store plastic boxes under our bed that are quite heavy, but they also cannot be seen under the bed so it works very well. The bed fits a standard double size (bought elsewhere) perfectly. Can’t really fault the quality. The only small problem is the double bed comes with a clip to hold the two sides together. It would be better if it was something that screwed in as it kept failing add when trying to put the bed in place. Other than that very happy. Sturdy enough for my teenage son. The bed is ok to put together. A single mattress is smaller than the bed frame so it moves about a bit as there are no lips around the frame. The drawers are useful but don’t look robust enough to house heavy items. My son likes the LED lights and charging headboard function. One thing to note the plug to socket lead is small. I had to purchase an extension lead so that the charging and lights can be used. 4 stars but should be a 3 12 really. There are a few cons with the bed. Let’s see how my lad gets on with it.. The storage area on this is straight to the floor area and does not have a base. The bed frame features a sturdy beech sprung slatted base supported by a center rail and two middle legs - a great value bed that is well constructed too.
