Love the island. It looks great in my kitchen, provides plenty of extra storage, and can easily accommodate 2-4 stools for additional seating. Deducted one star for assembly, however. I like to think I'm above average at furniture assembly, but this thing gave me a run for my money. The directions are poorly drawn at best, and as others have mentioned, some of the pre-drilled holes were misplaced or missing altogether. That said, other than needing extra hands to place the top, I was able to put it together on my own. This kitchen is just perfect for the uses for which I wanted it. It fits perfectly in the space and will be a boon as a kitchen island on busy days in the kitchen. It is good quality, nice wooden worktop, roomy drawer, and plenty of space in the cupboard underneath, where I can store the electrical kitchen aids that are needed only on occasions.
