Relatively easy to put together, seems quite sturdy. The head board is not as high as expected, I do have a thick mattress though, but thought it would be a little higher than it is. Love this bed frame, over the years we've had one in king and two in double sizes. Super sleek looking, the metal is great as our cat cannot scratch and ruin it, it's sturdy and easy to assemble.
