Dresser capacity is larger than anticipated. Drawers pull out smoothly and i am surprised how much i liked the handles. The assembly was simple to follow. The pieces were all labeled clearly (even the screws), so there was no question on what each step includes. Assembly did take a few hours but not due to frustration. It took 2 1/2 to 3 hours to put together, and there were a couple parts that were difficult because of the angle of the drill holes, but other than that, it went together really easily. The drawers feel smooth, and I like the leather accents on the handles. The drawers are a little smaller than I was expecting but for a decorative dresser I think this is just fine. Finished unit is good. Assembling it was not as easy as expected. The dowels are too small and constantly fall out while trying to use them in assembly. Most of screws are too thick for the holes provided / both these issues made assembly challenging. Unit is built with some modifying work done by us to overcome the problems - it does look ok thought and is a good solid set of drawers. Will not buy anything that needs home assembly.. Elizabeth. For the price I’m very happy. Good finish and looks good in-situ and also smells very nice! 2 person assembly better but easy enough to assemble on your own although beware it is heavy in the box. Reason for 4 stars not 5 is due to the drawers as they are main from very soft wood and don’t feel that solid and because some of the pre-drilled holes didn’t align with pieces exactly.
