Very heavy and well built! Easy to put together and very very sturdy! It's a very nice firm seat which is great support for putting on shoes. The fabric is very nice. The legs ship bolted under the cushion in a compartment that zips. We ended up using that area to store some extra linens which is a nice bonus! It is larger and shorter than we had before.
