The paulownia wood is known for its knotty characteristics, cracks and holes can occur in the wood and give this stool its robust character. Material Paulownia wood is a natural material with a soft texture, it is easily damaged or dented. However, paulownia wood is very hard-wearing and long-lasting, making the natural product very durable. The warm tone of the wood is very attractive for interior items. Paulownia wood has the coarse, robust characteristics of wood. This means that knots and cracks actually give the item its recognisably natural look. reclaimed solid teak

Straight from the Marcell collection comes this country-inspired counter stool. Rest comfortably on its contoured saddles seat in a deep medium weathered oak finish and dark black legs.

Great value and quality for the price point. I'm pleasantly surprised with the rich colors on the tops of these stools. It makes them feel a lot more expensive than they are. The tops are pretty smooth and a little slippery, so maybe not the best for those with younger children, who might fall off the smooth surface. The style of these stools is transitional modern with an industrial feel. The chairs are truly very comfortable. I love sitting on them. They are easy to slide across the floor now that I put adhesive felt pads on the bottoms of the legs. They match the Mount Shasta dining table well. This item comes fully assembled. At first glance it didn't appear that there was any damage. However, when I sat on the stool it was very wobbly so I turned it around to take a good look. I noticed that one of the top rungs was completely broken, the bottom rungs looked like they were ready to separate, and the top of the stool was not completely seated on the legs. Since there was no obvious damage to the box, I can only assume that I was shipped a broken stool. The top of the stool doesn't seem to have much finish on it.
