Thick well padded seating and back cushions that may feel a bit firm to begin with but that also means it will stay new looking for longer before cushions wear in. Really like this sofa for the price. Very easy to set up and clear instructions. Agree that it is a little firm to begin with but it does soften very quickly. It is very comfortable and has a lot of depth for extra comfort! My partner would give this 5 stars, but I give 4 just because I prefer higher armrests as I lean a lot!. Emily. Wales.
