This beautiful hand carved chest of drawers has been handmade in India using mango wood. This is a very special technique of hand carving that comes from the Jaipur area of India. There are 8 ornately decorated drawers in two sizes. The base has been whitewashed to give a contemporary feel, with the top and interiors polished to bring out the natural quality and lustre of the Mango wood. Please note that the nature of mango wood is that it is inconsistent but this gives real character to the overall look of the piece. A very special, beautiful chest of drawers handmade from mango wood. Hand carved using traditional techniques in Rajasthan, India, by master carpenters using traditional techniques and designs. This combi chest has approx 60% recycled old wood with the special design of the nostalgic vintage style that ensures the attractive appearance of this sideboard. The interesting appearance was achieved by an extravagant colouring in different shades which offers a truly interesting picture. Also, the lacquering has been given optimal wood protection which guarantees the durability of this solid piece of furniture.
