Yet to put a mattress on the bed and sleep on it as we are awaiting delivery from another business but this was easy to assemble, delivered quickly and looks the part. The only reason this is not receiving 5 stars at this point is that we were advised a delivery time during working hours 2-4pm so I took a days annual leave but the package arrived at almost 6pm when I would have been home from work anyway.. Great purchase which arrived earlier than originally expected, once delivery company had helpfully got in touch to check this would be okay. We had to redo our work a few times when assembling the bed as we’d not noticed the correct layout of the pre drilled bolt holes when laying out the main pieces but once we’d noticed our error, it was completed (2 persons) within 3 hours and we are really pleased with how lovely it looks and the storage space the ottoman gives us.. The bed is coated in a print of cut oak wood which from a distance looks real. However, this bed is not solid wood as described, it is chipboard with a laminate print stuck to it. It's worth noting that the item looks grey with a mauve tint in the pictures but it more of a grey with a hint of brown. This is even more so in the fabric in the headboard so will affect colour matching to your room.
