Amazing - a little tough to bolt it in, but very impressed. The chairs are a little low, so its elbow time for a dinner party but otherwise very satisfied with this purchase. This product is made using kiln-dried timber. Then coated in hard wax oil coating, to colour and enhance the wood's nature; this also offers excellent protection from heat and spills. Raw steel legs give the unit an industrial style. Please note solid timber which is a living material is used, even though we use kiln-dried timber it will still develop. This means the surface may encounter natural movement and colour variations.

Maryport foldaway dining set

Overall it is a very solid table and stool set and the delivery time was exceptional however in relation to the construction some of the bolts are too long. We tightened by hand as instructed but when we opened the leaves of the table we found that the bolts attaching the table top to the legs were protruding through the table top. We will have to use wood glue to reattach the wood and a tablecloth to cover the damage.
