This 5-drawer dresser has a distressed finish and clean lines that make it right at home in any farmhouse or coastal aesthetic. Its vertical frame is made from solid acacia and engineered wood with a soft wire-brushed finish that highlights the wood's natural grain (knots and all). The five spacious drawers provide a place for sweaters and denim, plus they're accented with elongated wooden bar pulls with gold-finished metal details. Best of all, there's room on the surface for displaying everything from accent pieces and framed photos to a vase of fresh flowers and a table lamp.

It's no doubt a quality product but it is a nightmare to transport up stairs. It comes as a single unit with no way to open the drawers fully to reduce the weight, which was 76kg by the way. Was a nightmare for the delivery team and me. The drawers are also a hesitant to open since they have a rope on the inside back tying them together so if you open one, another one will close. Looks fantastic and expensive however. There are smooth rounded edges and the finish is exquisite. Made of solid wood's great grandpa. Since it is so large, it does not look ideal in a small to medium room - you need the room size or house grandeur to match which I don't have lamentably.. Anonymous. London. Mon Oct 12 2026

Although Chinese cabinets would sometimes contain small drawers on the inside, the Chinese did not use chests of drawers for storing clothes as we do today. Our oriental style chest of drawers is therefore not strictly a Ming design, but we like to think that it is in keeping with the ethos of that time. The simple design, including an apron stretching across the bottom that is typically seen on Ming period furniture, gives it a contemporary look that still has more than a hint of Chinese style.

Beautiful elm wood, very solid, looks elegant in our home, spacious drawers. Ruth. London, GB. Sun Jul 23 2017

This chest of drawers is characterized by its curved edges and classic molding, which is an elegant addition to any room.

A wider, deeper version of our Ming Chest of Drawers, with two full-width drawers and two smaller drawers at the top. Chests of drawers are a western invention rather than Chinese, as it was usual to store furniture in either cabinets or trunks, but the style of our chests is similar to cabinets from the time, and perfectly matches our own classical Chinese range. The drawers are mounted on metal runners for smooth opening and closing.
