Fully assembled, just the handles to fix as they are inside the drawers to avoid damage during transit. Communication was excellent and delivery was very quick. Although Chinese cabinets would sometimes contain small drawers on the inside, the Chinese did not use chests of drawers for storing clothes as we do today. Our oriental style chest of drawers is therefore not strictly a Ming design, but we like to think that it is in keeping with the ethos of that time. The simple design, including an apron stretching across the bottom that is typically seen on Ming period furniture, gives it a contemporary look that still has more than a hint of Chinese style.

One strange design flaw...the drawers themselves have a shorter depth than the cabinet itself consequently there is significant wasted space at the back of the cabinet causing lost storage capacity.
