There were a few dent spots but for the price it is pretty sturdy. There was a mistake in the instruction but we were able to make it right . There are some splinters coming off the corners of the slats so we might want to use sand paper to let it smooth out to avoid kids getting splinter if whoever sleeping on the bottom side happen to run her hand or arm through it.. Great size and decent quality for the price. It's got a cool MCM vibe that I love. It seems comfy enough, though I have not sat on it for more than about an hour or so at a time thus far. I did sleep on it one night while I was waiting for a new mattress to arrive, and it was great to have a couch with the length and seat depth to allow me to get a decent night's sleep.
