The white laminate chips. The joins don’t line up. You are also expected to line up the internal wooden baton edging to hold the mattress on the outside frame yourself. I wasted £140 on this. Refreshing and inspirational, their bed frame is beautifully minimal and blends in with any type of décor. Underbed storage makes the most of available space and the clean lines of the design set the tone for the rest of the room.

The bed was easy-ish to assemble although the instructions are a little unclear in some areas. (The biscuit positioning, leg orientation and slat spacing in particular). However, now built, the bed sits flat and is very steady. Personally I would have liked one more slat to provide more mattrass support, especially as required for sprung mattrasses..
