A lovely velvet chair, i use this in the corner of my bedroom for reading and relaxing. It is pretty upright and high, so not one for sinking into, but great for your posture and for sitting in for a short reading session. It looks fab too - the photo doesnt do it justice! Was really easy to put together - just had to screw the four legs in (although there is a slight creaking when you sit on it). Assembly a 5 min job. This is a nice compact, comfortable tub chair. The leather is soft to touch and fits well in in small space. I have replaced the plastic ‘feet’ with felt pads, as they work better with a wooden floor imo, and I would’ve liked a choice of leg colours eg natural wood or the dark to blend with existing furniture. This is a great chair! Very comfortable and sturdy. Looks just like the pics. The only reasons it’s not getting a 5 star is because there’s these random two wholes drilled in the middle of it on the bottom for no reason. It’s like they made a mistake or it’s meant for a swivel version or something. But since you can’t see it, it doesn’t bother me much. The other thing is the total height. The dims say it’s 28” high total. That’s incorrect. Where the ARMS lay is 28” but the entire height of chair from the back to the floor is actually 30” high. That mattered to me because I was looking to be able to completely tuck it under my secretary desk. But that can only happen at 28” high. Which is the reason why I bought this chair after searching for so long. But, in the end.. I actually love it so much and most of it slides under the desk anyway expect for a few inches out the back.. It doesn’t look as bad as I thought it would in my space. Still tucked in plenty enough. Really love the chairs. I got the chocolate velvet ones. They’re a good size and comfortable. I’m giving 4 stars because the assembly tools were not suited for the way this chair is made. The tool needed to be a lot longer in order to screw in the bolts all the way. Otherwise the angled part of the tool hits the side of the chair so you can’t twist it 360 anymore.. Sydney.
