Overall it's a really nice looking unique and interesting unit, the quality of wood is really good and when finally put together it's sturdy. However, all 3 screws were loose on one of the door hinges, and was unable to tighten them, so it's going to need wood filler to set in the holes before re screwing. 2 of the shelves have cracks on the side and on one of the iron supports the thread had gone where the bolts are supposed to screw in so it's not as strong as it should be on one side. Utterly disappointed.The bookcase we received matches measures but the brand is Vida XL, which is a brand that does not inspire quality to me and I would not have chosen to buy from. The colour of shelf is not quite the same as pictured , it looks more like grey and it clashes with everything else in the room. It took 4 HOURS to assemble. It was like a big Mecano set that turned to nightmare when we realised there were holes missing on some plates, 20 in total, which we had to drill , some screws do not go in . I gave it 1 star because it’s somehow standing . We purchased this a while ago and the box was sitting in storage until he room was finished so we can’t return it , my husband ripped the package box in to release his frustration after assembly, so we’re stuck with this piece of garbage..
