Very easy to assemble! Fulfilled all my bedroom bookcase needs. Like others have said, there are scuffs on the shelves, but depending on what you place on your bookcase, you can't see them. Currently, this holds a small lamp on the top shelf, books and the fabric bin holds miscellaneous electronics.
