It's a beautiful chair. Just hard. We moved it from a main sitting area to a bedroom because it was too firm for our liking. We use it in the bedroom relaxing with the laptop or a book and don't find it bad for that type of short term use. For us, it wasn't a chair to hang out in chatting with company or watching a movie. I'm obsessed with these chairs. They are so stinking cute. I'm using this room more for puzzling and gaming than for dining so I wanted comfortable and wide so I could cross my feet under me. These do the trick. I love the green color as it's a nice neutral green, not too yellow or bright. I paired it with the salmon/moss Loloi rug and it works great. These are not expensive chairs and there are some aspects that show that...they are microfiber but super soft, the stitching at the top is layered (you can see the raw fabric edge), and the way they go together is super easy but it also means that if you tug on the top to lift the chair it could slip off.
