The material is hardwearing and the piping/seams help retain the shape. It could have have a little more seat padding as the springs are noticeable when you sit down, but you get used to it. Whilst there are cup holders in the drop down arm/middle section, you can’t fit a standard size mug to sit in as the handle of the mug is the same level as the side of the cup holder! You can fit a glass in though, so all’s not lost! The arms are detached & are just placed in position at each end of the sofa, so fall off onto rte floor when you move about in the sofa.
