Delivery was on time; bed appears solid, well made and of good colour. Went together fairly easily, however each side of the bed had no pilot holes where the central middle metal bar was supposed to be attached. The bar was a little short in length (5-8mm), meaning the screws had to be fitted at a slight outward angle to prevent them splitting the wood they were being screwed into.. Tim L. West Mids. I am extremely impressed with this, it came it three boxes and I assembled it alone; it's very sturdy, no creaking and quite literally doesn't move, especially under certain stresses. It has everything you need to put it together and feels very solid. The only negative thing I will say though, upon assembly, the holes in the side frame where you tighten the nuts up to the bolt from the headboard isn't quite big enough, so by the end of it, the little spanner was obliterated, so you will need another tool if ever you need to take it apart.. Really solid bed! The wood is darker than advertised but I think it looks much nicer than I was expecting. Straightforward to put together as well. Beautiful bed, structurally sound and extremely handy for small spaces too! Assembling it is enjoyable, make sure you have a drill / screwgun with a hex/Allen key bit!
