This ottoman was a skeptical purchased and a test to see how well the corduroy fabric would hold up against 6 dogs on of which is a crazy slobbering bloodhound. This way I would know if a sofa made of the same fabric could stand the test of time. I have been pleasantly surprised at how it’s working for us. It’s easy to wash the fabric as well as vacuum it. I bought this after having the matching chair for a little bit, and it is a perfect match in terms of material and quality. Assembly wasn't terrible, but the placement of 4 hex bolts makes it annoying and time consuming to tighten them. Also know you'll have 4 L brackets to screw into place on your own without any pilot/guide holes drilled for securing the top to the frame. They're hidden, so it doesn't impact the look at all if you don't have them perfectly aligned, and there are dowels that line up the pad with the frame so it's impossible to build it off kilter..
