Wardrobe turned up damaged after being delivered in damaged boxes and no instructions. Have to now wait 1-2 days for instructions to be emailed so I can then order new pieces so I can build my wardrobe. I’m 7 months pregnant and is a hassle I don’t need. Cleared my bedroom ready for the build and now having to wait due to Wayfair customer services not being all that helpful. I bought the vestry cupboard before the wardrobe. Our spare bedroom is quite small so I was very limited on what I could put in it. I was hoping for a bit more of a honey pine that would match the furniture I bought way back in 2002. However this was the best available. I would have preferred something that was preassembled with proper joinery, but it was either this or something bespoke which would have been the other end of the price scale. Pine simply is not popular anymore and old pine was too big. It arrived quickly and very easy to assemble. I am pretty pleased with it and adds a bit of character. When I noted that I will not be able to receive it they asked me to ask a neighbour to take in three 1.80x1m panels weighing 70kg which were originally carried by two delivery men and supposed to be delivered to room of choice!. Haven’t built it yet, but so far the quality looks good and solid. So all in all very pleased with this item. 10/12/22 Have now built the wardrobe and it does not fit standard hangers, (4cm smaller than a standard wardrobe) therefore the doors will not close properly and it looks awful. The hanging rail is far too low and the clothes touch the floor of the wardrobe. I would not recommend this item, too expensive for what it is, and you could buy a decent wardrobe elsewhere.
