It did say fully assembled but you had to put the base and chair together and the courier wouldn’t help me get it up to my flat even via lift. This was a challenge as I have some mobility issues. This chair is absolutely amazing! It’s very beautiful, the size is perfect, and it looks exactly like the photos. I have a cat, and it was important for me that the fabric wouldn’t get damaged. After several days of use, with my cat constantly climbing on it and even scratching it sometimes, the fabric has stayed completely intact! it’s truly resistant to cat scratches!
