Top is a “box” of 12” wood panels all the way around. Nicely built sturdy. Base is a solid slab with feet underneath so the base sits 1-2” off the floor, which enhances the design. Description said “hidden storage” which I hoped meant there was a hidden drawer in the top, but there is not. I believe they were referencing the space between the top bottom slab, which IS a fair bit of space, albeit not “hidden”, nor very accessible given the low height of the table narrowness of the opening. I plan to put floor cushions in this space as the table height is perfect for floor sitting. I highly suggest the builder consider adding a drawer or two— it would make the table much nicer, and makes sense since the top design is already hollow. 3 stars for the poor description and unclear photos, but the table IS really nice and I am quite pleased with it. I believe my review will serve to clear up the description which is really my issue with it. 5 stars for the table itself.. Jill. Fri Oct 10 2025
