Stool color is a matte gold which worked perfect with my cabinet hardware and plumbing fixtures. The height and width are good but the stool is not comfortable. One of the chairs the bolts didn’t line up perfectly and you can see it. Not enough of an issue for me to waste time returning but kind of a bummer. Regardless, overall the stools are nice..
