The product did not match expectations. The whitewash was very thin, some pieces were received damaged and some of the parts did not align. The plastic on the screws was also quite poor. We only kept it because after reading the returns reviews, it sounded too painful to consider. Such a shame as I was recommended the site. Anonymous. Sat Jun 07 2025

No problem with assembly. They can easily be finished further with paint, varathane wood paint-stain, etc., if you want to design them into their new environment. Only warning, they are made from very light "tropical pine?" wood that is very easy to bruise (dent). The height of the unit is excellent for my use as I put two units side by side behind my sofa, creating a lot of storage space with the upper book shelf for leaning paintings and the under shelf for speakers, decorations, etc.. Finger weg !!. Sigrid. Sat Jul 29 2023

This is sold as a book case but it is actually a cabinet and should have glass doors. I ordered it as a bookcase and it looks ridiculous as has all of the grooves cut out for glass doors to be put in place. I actually got sent the glass doors which I now have to dispose off. Instructions to build were hard to follow as none of the parts had the letters marked on as per the instructions. Very disappointed as was expensive and clearly not a bookcase at all!. Kim.
