Overall I think this is a good buy for the price. I think it works best in grey as far as the pieces coming together and looking good. The other colors as shown in reviews didnt look as natural coming together in the 4 pieces. My husband said it wasnt too hard to put together. I took 1 star off, only because with the table in pieces it feels like you need to be a little gentle on it. But overall I like the look of it. We just moved and needed a table quickly. In time I think this might be moved down to the basement for a game table but it will work just fine for us as a dinner table for now. This is an expandable dining table which can be also used as an office desk. This dining desk can achieve the requirements of being large and space saving. The hidden tabletop with a storage is convenient but also tidy for your kitchen.

I have purchased this as a table for my sewing room. It is good quality in general, however you will need better screws to attache the hinges as the ones supplied kept pulling out of the wood. The item is large enough for my sewing machine and when open in full plenty of room for fabric. I intend to close the table down when I need to put visitors in this room. Closed to its smallest stands in the corner out of the way.
