Screws fall out as some holes had been drilled too big, chose to replace all screws with larger ones and this solved the problem. Not a perfect fit with some gapping at some joints no matter what was tried (with both original and new screws) clearly cut enmass and no test fit for these hence the price point. A disappointment. At just shy of £100 each we expected these wooden chairs to be of a decent quality. However, all 4 of the chairs which we ordered had a split across the seat. Strangely, the seat isn't made of a single piece of wood, but instead is several small planks joined (glued?) together. Each has split along one of these joins. If you're happy to put a seat pad or cushion on, they'll be fine (assuming the cracks aren't sufficient to cause the seat to break) but we expected better for the price.. Rhian. Windsor, GB.
