Lost for words. Ive been assembling flatpack furniture for years and Ive seen all sorts, so it takes a lot to impress me... but this thing DID.
The quality is SO. PATHETICALLY. BAD that you dont know whether to laugh or to cry.
Heres my story...
First off, the cainet doesnt look sleek and cool like the listing photo. Its made of two parts, with an ugly grit-covered seam that runs across it.
The colour is...technically white but the layer of veneer is so thin that you can see the brown chipboard underneath.
Speaking of chipboard - to top up the experience, this peace of junk arrived chipped, right at the front.
RIDICULOUS shelves design with peg holes facing the front see pics.
Speaking of pegs - the holes for them were way too tight, so it was impossible to push them in with fingers like the manual suggested. They had to be hammered in, which destroyed one of the boards, see pics.
The maker decided to cut costs to the point it was nauseating. The top and the bottom boards of the cabinet are made of 2 halves, which adds more assembly time, requireds unnecessary effort, looks hideous, and compromises stability.
And about hideous looks. The back boards didnt come in two pieces as the rest of the cabinet, as one might have expected. Instead, it was presented as an array of nasty little cardboard squares, with no tape to even hold them together and properly lined.
As a result, when assembled, the back of the cabinet had ugly seams across it, which quickly started bulging in and out since the boards were dirt-cheap and wouldnt stay put.
Added an extra star for the only positive this thing has - it *didnt* fall apart when put upright.
Hands down the most hideous piece of furniture Ive ever bought.
