Love the look of these chairs and how sturdy they are. Definitely heavy which makes them feel more expensive. The padded seat isn't the most comfortable however, it's very firm. A disappointment. At just shy of £100 each we expected these wooden chairs to be of a decent quality. However, all 4 of the chairs which we ordered had a split across the seat. Strangely, the seat isn't made of a single piece of wood, but instead is several small planks joined (glued?) together. Each has split along one of these joins. If you're happy to put a seat pad or cushion on, they'll be fine (assuming the cracks aren't sufficient to cause the seat to break) but we expected better for the price.. Rhian. Windsor, GB. Cant complain for the price. Very pleased with my purchase. Two kitchen chairs for under £55. Fairly easy to put together despite instructions not being totally clear. Nice quality finish.
