There are some splinters coming off the corners of the slats so we might want to use sand paper to let it smooth out to avoid kids getting splinter if whoever sleeping on the bottom side happen to run her hand or arm through it.. I love this sofa, it took a bit to sort but it was so easy getting into small doorways as it comes in sections for you to build. Great size and decent quality for the price. It's got a cool MCM vibe that I love. It seems comfy enough, though I have not sat on it for more than about an hour or so at a time thus far. I did sleep on it one night while I was waiting for a new mattress to arrive, and it was great to have a couch with the length and seat depth to allow me to get a decent night's sleep. I'd recommend having two people to put it together.. Kevin. Durham, NC. Sat Mar 15 2025
