What a fantastic bookcase - sturdy and very classy. Easy to assemble although a second pair of hands to hold the assembled frame while the shelves are connected is advised. So happy with it in my lounge that I bought another for the dining room! I have had to edit this review - sadly the 2nd order never came after waiting 4 weeks so cancelled and re-ordered again - fingers crossed the seller fulfills this order! This 5-tier bookcase is intricately crafted and perfect for compact spaces such as kitchens, study rooms, living rooms, and bedrooms. It arrived intact, the packaging as well. Got it opened and ready to assemble. The very first brackets needed, literally in step one, were useless. They were somehow stuck together, almost like they were powder coated together. There should have been 4 “u” shaped pieces (they are labeled “p” in the instructions) and instead I have 2 cubes of very attached to each other metal (see photo). Wayfair is sending a new hardware pack, but the shipping quote says I won’t have them for almost a month. I’m really hoping I can come back and amend this review to add stars, but finding this level of poor quality control before I’ve even gotten it assembled does not fill me with much hope. So for now, my oversized trip hazard on the floor gets one star. **Update. The replacement parts arrived faster than expected. Assembly was not difficult, but the instruction photos are less than stellar. The screw heads also strip really easily, even when using only the tool provided. Smaller than I thought it was going to be but design is good. Up close the quality of the laminate is quite cheap for the price but it does look better quality. Fairly straightforward to put together, I did it singlehandedly over a few hours/days. The only thing I didn't like was that you need to get a drill out to put the handle on the large door, if the handle were middle hung (rather than offset) this wouldn't be required.. Abbi.
