These barstools were exactly what I needed for my breakfast bar. They look great, feel sturdy, and were easy to put together. Like some other reviewers mentioned, the wood appears to be laminated and seems prone to cracking, which was a little disappointing. Stool color is a matte gold which worked perfect with my cabinet hardware and plumbing fixtures. The height and width are good but the stool is not comfortable.
