Very sturdy. The way the pipes screw together and hold it all together it a very cool idea. It makes it very simple to assemble. The wine glass holder screwing into the bottom isnt very sturdy with just two small screws directly into the pressed wood. That wont last. Living on my 60' by 7' narrow boat comes with it's own unique challenges; one of which is storage. Bottles have a tendency to fall over during heavy weather, and if racked conventionally, they represent a trip hazard. Three of these (to be increased to five later) 'Vintage View' wine racks solved the problem as they allow for the wines to be stored in line with the bulkheads and out of harm's way.
