I’m sick of hard chairs. I wanted something comfy and padded and swively so people would stay at the table instead of migrating to softer furniture with food and for playing board games. Yet, I wanted a wipeable surface because…kids. I *almost* got what I was looking for with these chairs. They look nice and modern, they swivel well (some get a bit loose), and they are comfortable. The two cons that I have are 1) I wish the angle of the chair was a little more upright and 2) my niece spilled a drink and it seeped down to the padding because of the holes where the stitching makes “stripes”, so they definitely aren’t waterproof which makes me sad. Really love the look and functionality of these chairs. I have only had them about a week they are super comfortable and definitely waterproof and sun proof. I can’t tell you longevity wise if they’re going to stain or not but so far they have been exactly what I ordered. The reason I gave them four stars just because they were pretty difficult to put together some of the pre-drilled and threaded metal screw holes did not lineup on the seats and the bases.
