To ensure the stability of the product, we have retained the complete oak, so the texture of the oak will make each product unique. To avoid wear, we added anti-skid pads on the bottom of the four feet.

I am happy with this little sofa now it is assembled. However when it arrived in an open damaged box I was expecting parts missing or broken. I was wrong it was all there and not damaged. Although one of the bolts had a worn thread which my husband managed to rethread. It was very tricky to assemble as the screw holes did not align. Really pleased with this sofa. It’s maybe not quite as comfortable as a more expensive sofa might be but cushions etc sort that. It goes so nicely in our living room. We found putting it together pretty simple but some of it might have been a bit tricky with less than two people, lifting the back into place for example. The colour is more fuchsia than it appears in the Wayfair photos and even in my first photo. Other customer pictures and my second picture are closer to the real colour I think, it just photographs a little differently in some lights. The chair is absolutely gorgeous and just what I was looking for. It’s a shame about the assembly. I could believe it - we had to drill pilot holes for the feet and screw them in with a power screwdriver!! I’d expected pre-drilled holes or the feet to be attached. it's a very small snug sofa, 2 seater is a bit of stretch for it really but I knew that from the dimensions. What let's it down is the low height, the awful packaging which left marks in the velvet and the lack of proper firm cushioning. The pros are that it comes with matching pillows, it has a neat ratchet system to make it a bit longer if you wanted lounge, calling it a sofa bed is a misnomer really.
