I bought this to go with the set I also purchased to make an L shape. The chair is super comfortable. My only complaint, like other reviews, is that the screw holes do not line up well. This minimalist decorative chair with footstool is made of high-density foam, which is more comfortable than any other chair, and its cushion retains its original elasticity after a long time of use. It comes with an adjustable backrest that can be adjusted from 90° to 180° to suit every need. The footstool of this living room chair set not only comes with padded upholstery, but also features a large storage space for storing magazines books, remotes and more. Decorative chairs with footstools are perfect for living rooms, home theatres and bedrooms, as well as leisure areas such as offices and study rooms for reading books, watching TV and nap time.

I initially had issues with this order…missing hardware for the ottoman, poor packaging (the hardware bag arrived torn with parts loose in the box), and very confusing instructions. There were even extra pieces included that didn’t seem to belong. After a delay, I did finally receive the missing parts from Wayfair and was able to assemble the ottoman. The good: the chair looks great in my space and is very comfortable. Now that it’s complete, the chair and ottoman together make a nice set. The downside: the overall quality and assembly experience don’t quite match the price. Between the missing parts, poor packaging, and unclear instructions, it was more frustrating than it should have been. This chair is a fantastic value. First off, the cushions are soft enough to watch TVmovie or read a book for a decent amount of time. It’s smaller than an “oversized” chair but fairly deep for a standard chair. The assembly was the only thing that this isn’t 5 stars (not Wayfair’s fault) the instructions weren’t very clear with the parts list and it didn’t include washers (which is fine, I had some). Easy to assemble! If you have two people it makes it go by so much faster. I did wish it was taller but I didn’t see that when I was buying. I love the color and I’m 5’10” and I can sit crisscrossed without a problem and I’m also on the chunky side and it feels very firm when I sit like I’m not worried it’s going to break or something. It spins great even with someone on it. I’m a college student and I wanted something big to be able to spend hours on and do homework and this was the perfect fit.
